Dress in layers, started out quite chilly at 0600 and wished I had brought something other than cotton sweaters for myself and the kiddos. Otherwise, the trip was pretty carefree!

If you visit in March dress appropriately! Although it was a sunny day the winds are cold and high! I made my 3 sons were thermals and they were completely fine with the temperature!

Fishing can be hit and miss. Usually good fishing with a good captain, boat and waters. Have enjoyed good fishing for sculpin, red fish, and bass. Great harbor just larger to exit than others.

There is also a possibility of catching pelagic fish such as yellowfin and bluefin tuna. There is always yellowtail fishing either at the islands or just outside at the Horseshoe Kelp area.
