The weather here is fickle (it's Texas after all). I'd advise against days where the wind is really strong, but it didn't keep us from catching a good amount of fish. When the weather is right, you can't miss with white bass.

The early morning hours of fishing are very pleasent. With a slight breeze and a knowlegable guide you can't go wrong. I would go again in August as long as it was in the A.M.

The white bass were very active between 7 and 8:30 am. We caught 48 in that time frame. We had good luck off Temple Lake Park. We went on a cloudy morning after two days of rain.
