I think other than the weather fishing would’ve been a little better, plus going in trophy rock season probably wouldn’t do that again but we did catch some decent size cat fish.

Go out with Captain Wally - he's very knowledgeable. You'll have a great time and you'll catch lots of fish!

Ask for the boat “BIFF!!” You will not be disappointed!! I truly found a Captain that cares the fishing and catch and release!

I would just recommend making sure that the weather is right for you, especially if you are prone to seasickness (ours was great anyway).

Stay in-shore, practice with the smaller fishes! Your target should be bottom-feeders and whiting! You will have a great time, for the first time, if you try not to do to much.

If you’re hoping for rock fish (or whatever fish) make sure you can catch them. Turns out we missed fishing for rock fish by a day. Disappointing but still had a great time! Yes! We released the rock fish.

Despite it being late in the season, Captain Billy worked hard to make sure that the guys all caught their limit. The first mate took great care of them, and all had a wonderful day on the Bay. Worth every $. Do not hesitate to book!

Check the season of fish first. Rockfish were off season for the first 2 weeks ever on our trip.

Eat at Watermans Crab House then go catch fish. You’ll have a great time.

Helpful to go with Captain & First mate that will communicate about the sea.

You never know what you’ll bring in the boat. It was an off day, not a lot fish caught. But, still was a lot of fun.

Want to try earlier in the season to fish for larger Rockfish—we caught and released smaller ones this time.

Great place to leave from and conveniently closer to home than other places

My son and I thought this was a great trip. The captain was very knowledgeable, helpful, everything was great. We would definitely book another trip.

Schedule your trip on a week day. There are too many boats on the bay on the weekend.

Best part of our vacation thanks captain Darnell. A great experience because of a great captain. Would recomend to everyone.

Understand that what fish you catch will depend on current conditions, but you will have a good time nevertheless.
