In October going on a charter fishing trip to catch sea bass is worth it. It was brisk but not too cold and it was choppy but not too crazy. There is no bad weather - only bad clothing. We had a blast.

Although we had great luck with the weather, October can be iffy. The day before our October 21st trip would have been quite uncomfortable due to high winds (high winds = rough seas). Also, there are limited species still in season at that time.

Highly recommend for a fun, family-friendly adventure. Plenty of fishing action to keep our kids, age 10-15, excited and engaged for a 4 hour charter. Highly recommend JP charters for a great day out on the water!

Very comfortable fishing situation plenty of room, even if the boats packed. Parking was very easy as well. Once you get there the crew will guide you exactly where to park. Make sure to bring cash to tip the crew.
