Late fall and winter time is always my favorite time to fish inshore! We have a lot of hungry red fish up in the marsh, eating all they can to fatten up for the winter time! We have a nice class of trout moving in. Wintertime sheephead is always good. And black drum are stsrting to school up around deep structure. Great time of year to get out on the water and beat the crowd and the heat!

Even though its cooling off. The fish just don't care! Offshore bite is in fire with nice king mackerel, ajs, some cobia pushing south and a tone of bonita! Bottom fishing is alway great this time year, especially for triggers, seabass, and so much more. The Gulfstream is full of big wahoo, and some black and yollew fin really push thought this time of year. Great time to beat the crowd and get a boatload to take home!

Midshore charter with plenty of bottom fish action

The last couple of weeks have been challenging for offshore fishing in Eastern North Carolina, with unfavorable weather conditions keeping us docked more often than we'd like. From high winds to unsettled seas, it’s been a tough stretch for us eager to get out on the water. However, we’re finally seeing a break in the weather! We’re excited to report that Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are shaping up to be perfect days for offshore fishing! With calm seas, light winds, and sunny skies on the forecast, it’s a great opportunity to get out there and make up for lost time. Fishing Forecast: With the improving conditions, we’re expecting solid action in the Gulf Stream and along the deeper structures. Anglers can expect: Tuna (Yellowfin and Blackfin) – Cooler waters are pushing through, which should fire up the tuna bite. We’ll be targeting the ledges and drop-offs for some good action. King Mackerel - The fall run is heating up! Kings have been showing up in good numbers around nearshore wrecks and along temperature breaks making for great action on those 4 to 6 hour trips. In Slow-trolling dead bait has been producing quality fish, and we expect the bite to stay strong through the weekend. Wahoo – The wahoo bite should pick up with the calm seas, especially around deeper wrecks and drop-offs. We’re looking forward to an exciting weekend of fishing and can’t wait to hit the water with some great weather and good company!
