Weather in Corpus can be an issue, but that's true anywhere . We did well in late March fishing in Baffin Bay

Ryan was one of those captains that loves to fish, he kept on fish the whole 6 hours helped everyone on board casting and netting for us, very good captain

McCain’s Shallow Water Experience
Captain Dale with “Always an Adventure” was the best. We all had a great time. Caught the biggest fish on the first cast!! Had 6 in our group and he had all he could do to keep bait on our lines. I’ve never done this kind of fishing before and would do again in a heartbeat. We all had a blast!! Thanks Dale. Wendy ~ The winner from Wisconsin ?

Captain Dale with “Always an Adventure” was the best. We all had a great time. Caught the biggest fish on the first cast!! Had 6 in our group and he had all he could do to keep bait on our lines. I recommend making sure you know the weather because high 80’s and muggy weather can be tough on the body. Make sure you have the appropriate clothes and plenty of water.

We love fishing, and this was our first on-the-water fishing trip. We usually love fishing from the shore in August when fish movement starts changing up due to changing weather patterns.

Wear long sleeve fishing shirts, sun glasses, sun screen, drink plenty of water, catch what ever is biting, and enjoy the entire process of fishing.

McCain’s Shallow Water Experience
Well we caught speckled trout. That seemed boring in the beginning but they gave a good fight and it was a ton of fun. Caught about 30 fish in about 5 hours with Capt. Alex. He’s a great guide.

McCain’s Shallow Water Experience
Make sure you purchase your fishing licenses the day prior and give atleast 30 minutes to do so. It requires computer data input by the associate which can take about 5 minutes a person. I do not have experience doing it online.
Only used live shrimp and it was working for us all day.
The fish cleaners at the dock are pretty convenient and charge about $0.50/lb.

I was surprised we caught as many fish as we did since I never thought October was a great time to go. Our schedules pushed us out a bit, and we were happily surprised! We caught way more fish on this one trip than we had on any of our previous ones!
