Fresh Coolidge Park Fishing Reports

Here is our the results so far from my Spring season, I look forward to taking this momentum right into Summer! Lot's of great fish caught from march- early May. I have lot's of availability starting in June!

I've been finding great action and a good big fish bite. September isn't over yet although we have boated 9 fish over 50lb so far!

We fished 18 trips this month and found some good action. Unstable weather and lower than average current flow made the anchor bite at night a little tougher than years past although we managed some good fish. 1st trip on the new Sea Ark 2472 we set the boat record pretty quick with a 58lb blue cat. 3 trips later that record fell with a mean 73lb blue. We got on good numbers drifting light tackle and went monster hunting after dark many trips. I'm looking forward to cooler weather and water temps in the next few months should get the fish moving around pretty good! Gimme a call, we are fishin!

There aren't enough words for the river today! I had Adam and Matt out there and they bit from start to finish. We ran over 20 miles to start the day and from our first cast all the way back up to the dam they were biting. Adam has been on the river a good bit and booked this trip just to learn some things and get on some new areas of the lake. None of the new areas disappointed. We landed over 40 fish today and had a huge 5 fish limit. We mixed in great quality of all 3 species throughout the day which is my absolute favorite thing to do. The river is starting to show out a little bit, especially this week. It's scary to say, but I truly feel that it is only going to improve. Guys thanks so much for coming out! They'll be back in October to try and top today's production and I think we can. I had an awesome trip to end the week! I had Roger back today along with his nephew, Tyler and his brother, Tojo (I'm sure I spelled that nickname wrong). We ran all over the lake today to try and change things up. We started the morning up river and the bite was pretty slow with the lack of current. We were still able to get a few bites, then around lunch time we ran down to some grass and were able to get a couple of really nice bites! We had a couple get off in the grass which is normal, but it was definitely worth the run, and like some other guys have been saying, the grass is gonna be in play big time in the coming weeks. To end the day we ran back up to the north end where they had started generating and it was on! We got on a great flurry to end the day capped by Tyler landing an absolute stud largemouth. He had another one get off about 3 casts later, but we were still happy with the one we got in! We left them biting to avoid the rain and came in a little bit early. 2 days left at the end of the month and the fall is getting full! Reach put to book a trip. We will be able to catch them just about any way you want to so let's go fishing!

This morning did not suck! Got to get out for a little while on my own. Whenever that happens I always put away the baits I'm most comfortable with and force myself to get out of my comfort zone. This morning I used a couple of baits that I hadn't tried much on the river, but I will be from now on! It was awesome to get out there and tug on a few this morning, but it was even better figuring them out with some off the wall tactics. Probably the coolest part was being able to use the Mega Live to watch how the fish were reacting to my bait on almost every cast. It makes you laugh the amount of times they swim up to it and turn the other way. I had a couple dates open up this week, Wednesday and Thursday!
