As we anxiously await the opening day of boating season 2025, I’ve been on an incredible bite locally shore fishing for trout!!! I’m fishing several lakes in the area, catching a few different species!!!

Although we cant take my boat out until the season starts 3/1/25, we’ve still been catching some great Trout in the Denver area!!! The daytime highs have been in the 50’s which is warm for us and the fish have been active! Weather will change i’m sure, so keep an eye on the forecast before booking. But for now, we are really enjoying a secon fall!!

For rainbow trout in Denver in June I would recommend fishing as early as possible as trout loves cold water.
