Book a large charter boat (ours was a 39' yacht) with a bathroom, overhead sun covering and comfortable seating because it can be a rough ride and a long day.

Walleye Charter - Tiara Yacht 39โ
Absolutely but one thing I will say if later season it can get splotchy we got lucky with the right winds but was being told early may June into July to catch a lot of nice walleye

Triple S Walleye Charters โ 22'
Great time with friends and/or family. Seve will find the fish and we reeled in some exceptional size walleye over 30 inches. This is my 3rd charter with Steve in the past 6 years. He will not disappoint.

Seriously, Bring a bigger cooler, I had to fill my fish cooler, and My wife's nice lunch/drink cooler with Walleye, A good problem to have.

Rodfather Fishing Charters
Just remember that even though it.is good fishing for Walleye the second to third week in June it's also Mayfly season. This means the Walleye have a lot to eat, so the captain can do his best but can't always control how well the Walleye are biting. Overall though it is a wonderful experience and I can't recommend it enough. It's beautiful out on the lake, the fishing is fun and a real learning experience for kids, and the best part is Walleye are good eatin'.

A lot of mayflies, but I guess thatโs not out of the norm for this time of year, other than that, and me finding out my motion sickness is worse than any of us imagined, it was a great trip!!! Tim and the boys caught 14 walleye in a little over an hour, they definitely would have caught their limit, had I not been so sick. I will stay land side next trip ?

Dress for anything as far as weather is concerned. Also I hadn't considered tipping the captain but after all Trent did he definitely earned it so consider rewarding him for all his hard work on the water and diligence filling the cooler with fish!
