Blue ridge lake has been fishing excellent Catching most of our trout on down lines, and trolling artificial with down riggers Most fish have been schooling up over 90ft of water hanging in 35-20 foot. Spotted bass have been biting good on all the main lake points Down lines,free lines, and drop shots have been the ticket!

Fishing on blue ridge has been good, catching bass and ealleye up shallow in creeks and secondary points near spawning areas Throw Ned rigs, scroungers, and spybaits up shallow to catch your best fish. Any rock that is in 10foot or shallower has been holding walleye. A secondary pattern ive been having success with is trolling plugs around 30foot deep on main lake humps and points. A few of the bass have spawned out and will be out deeper recovering. Most of the walleye are spawned out they are spending the most of there time shallow but have picked up a few trolling out deeper. Call and book your trip today and lets catch some dinner !

Catching good walleye in 25-35 feet of water on spoons and downline live baits. Focus on the upper end of the lake around small grass patches in that depth of water. Spotted bass bite has been phenomenal catching fish anywhere from 5 to 35 feet of water catching them on a variety of artificial lures like Ned Rigs scroungers, jerk baits and jigging spoons My biggest spots are coming on Main lake humps and points I would focus around star creek area

Fall fishing is here! Lake blue ridge is fishing extremely well, the next few months will be all about numbers. Spotted bass are feeding up on herring on points and humps near there winter time creeks. The walleye will be right behind and I expect any day to start catching more walleye and the perch will school up soon as well. Book today and dont miss out on some of the best fishing of the year.

It was surprisingly hot the day we were out. In the 90s… Which felt amazing to be in the river, but the sun was wicked hot. We think the fish were a little slow to bite because of the heat, but things picked up towards the end of our outing
