We actually went to Oswego to chase the fish, so Jared's knowledge and flexibility really helped. The salmon run is a little slow due to the lingering heat right now.

But bring some extra storage bags if you want to split up the fish once they are done...bring a cooler to bring home fish in...our Captain had ice for us to put in our cooler, but we brought packs just in case they didn't. Don't forget your fishing license. Plan ahead on knowing what the weather would be like. We knew there would be rain, but our Captain was on top of the pattern and we stayed clear of it. Be ready to have fun.

Book several days as the weather is always changing. While most will want to fish for only the big Kings, take the opportunity to try to catch all the other species first as they are beautiful fish and great to eat.
