We’re catching solid redfish on ¼-ounce gold spoons worked across the flats, while popping corks with live shrimp have been the ticket for speckled trout and slot drum. As the fall patterns settle in, fish are feeding heavier throughout the morning and into mid-day — a sign that the transition bite is in full swing.
