Fresh Provo River Fishing Reports

We typically do well for rainbow trout, somedays have been great and some slow. Weather keeps changing on and off and it plays a big role. We sometimes catch some spawning males that are not good eating, but are pretty fish. We have been getting a couple nice rainbows usually each trip around 18-19". As its been warming the bass have been staging and bedding up, especially smallmouth, largemouth will spawn probably end of the month, but smallies started on shallow areas of the lake. They have been more active on warmer days. Brown trout are rare but possible, sometimes we luck into them ranging from 18"+. But we dont typically catch them each trip, maybe one every other week or so. End of may early june is going to be great for bass and walleye! Were looking forward to take you out and catch some!

Had a great winter shore fishing trip to Jordanelle Reservoir with Jolie. It was the first time she has gone fishing in years. The weather was great, and the scenery was beautiful. Even though the fishing was a little slow we snagged this beautiful rainbow trout.
