Winds were moderately strong. We were on a smaller boat so the ride often felt choppy. But this was expected (I had been in touch with Captain Sean leading up to the trip), we never felt unsafe, and in fact, the kids felt the thrill of being on a fast boat in slightly stronger winds.

Itโs a good intro to open water fishing. The waves arenโt too high but thereโs some rougher areas. Even if youโre not actively catching fish, the surroundings are beautiful to sight see.
