Right now with the flood in North Carolina and the decision to lower the water table in Lake Moultrie itโs a bit muddy on half the lake. Not an ideal situation, but still some good fishing to be had.

This was a great adventure with so many large fish were caught. 15 out of 17 were landed.

Bring sunscreen, sunglasses and hats. I chose to wear long pants and long sleeve shirt both light weight and quick dry. I was happy but warm.

Houses and cottages for rent, Mac Daddyโs restaurant is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Small store that has bait and tackle, snacks , beer and other drinks. One stop shopping. And the staff is great! Say hey to Jennifer and Megan at Mac Daddyโs.

Unfortunately, the fish cleaning station and the bathrooms were all closed by the time we docked at Mac Daddy's and we were really counting on being able to use both. So, note to self for next time, be sure to get back to the dock at Mac Daddy's before they close everything up!
