If it for the kids let him know ahead of time. Capt Eric is a pro at game fish so if that’s what you want try to fish longer that 3 hours so you can hit several spots. We didn’t care and said put us on something and we caught tons of stuff and a unique variety as well

Fishing is fishing, sometimes they're there but just not biting. But they are there, and you can catch them, just not as big as in the earlier part of the year.

Snapper is out of season and the heat slows fish bites closer to mid day. Part of fishing though. Still a great time!

If you are booking a charter ask as many questions to the captain as possible prior to your trip so there are no surprises. If you are buying live bait and not fishing with a guide be prepared to pay a premium. If you are surf fishing get there early.

Our party of 5 adults had a great time. We even caught a very large trout and a shark! Lots of Mutton and other varieties of fish. The captain was personable, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. We had dinner at Sebastian Saltwater, also a recommendation from the captain, and it was excellent. An overall memorable experience!

What a great experience! Our grandson caught just about every fish and he couldn’t have had more fun! Capt J was so great! He took care of our needs and was able to adapt the trip to our enjoyment! Leah, his 1st Mate, was so helpful! They were both incredible! We would definitely recommend the trip to others and will be sure to call on him again when we return to Myrtle Beach! A definite 5-star trip!!!
