Offshore bite was got today

Fishing Report ? The big reds have been chewing! Overslot redfish are stacked up on the flats and deep edges, and they’ve been smashing cut bait and live mullet. Early morning and late evening have been the hot windows, with drag-screaming runs and plenty of sore arms to go around. Labor day weekend 2025 did not have the prettiest weather but the fish sure didnt mind it. One day we battled the rain the next day we had the wind. Despite these tough conditions we found hungry fish and capitalized on the bite. The infamous bull reds are finding their way into the river and should start gathering in larger schools. The next few moths will be prime redfish season with a good chance at catching breeders up to 50” long. The slot sized fish are also geared in on the shrimp amd mulltet run and have been feeding well. Over the weekends trips we managed to catch several other species on shrimp including flounder, black drum, speckled trout, mangrove snapper, and jack crevalle. Fall is starting to show its self and the fish are biting.

Nathan and his two boys from Kansas enjoyed a half day fishing on the FINOMENAL catching Florida Bass for the Labor Day Weekend.

Great morning bite with tarpon at the Mayport jetties. Lots of pogies on the beach and they were the preferred bait over mullet and blue crabs. Hooked 3 and landed 1. Client Dylan did a great job fighting these bruisers. Had to pull the plug early due to an approaching storm.

With the cooler weather, the speckled trout bite is turning on with lots of near slot and above slot fish. Float rigs and artificials are producing. Sheepshead continues to improve with larger fish starting to show. Sharks are a problem taking some bigger fish. Bull reds show up at surprising times and places. Flounder will open December 1 and they should be chewing. Let's go fishing!
