Fresh Weeks Bay Fishing Reports

It’s once again that time of year to find some nice sheepshead hanging around Mobile Bay. When we are blessed with calm seas and light wind days, my number 1 focus is filling the box with some great sheeps..!!

This past week has been fun catching nice Specks in Mobile Bay on days we were able to go after them. High winds and rough conditions forced us to fish in the rivers a couple of days, but still had a goodtime.

This past week has been a blast meeting and fishing with new clients, and also fishing with returning customers. We were blessed with near perfect conditions and the fishing was outstanding.

Mobile Bay is finally clearing up after all the rain our region has gotten the past couple of months and the fish are hungry. This past week has been a blast getting to meet and make new friends while catching quality fish.

The cooler air temps are finally here and the Speckled Trout bite has been great the past month and improving daily.

Now that the Covid lockdowns are lifted, it’s a perfect time to get out on the water. Surface temps are in the high 70’s and the fishing has been great. Specks are piled up on a majority of the reefs and oyster bars throughout Mobile Bay. The Redfish we’ve been catching have come from beating the banks and grass beds with top water baits and shrimp. The bonus right now is being able to fish comfortably all day and not getting cooked in the sun.
