After a historic freeze here on the treasure coast, the snook bite has been nothing but abysmal. But today, we saw our first signs of life as water temps get back to normal. I expect snook activity to continue to pick up in the next week!

Sheepshead are known for their sweet, crab like meat. Many say it tastes like shellfish, which is due a sheepshead’s diet consisting of primarily shellfish. And finally, bonefish, not known for their table fare due to many small needle like bones making preperation difficult, are still a sought after gamefish. The 7th fastest fish in the ocean, bonefish are most comonly caught in the florida keys, but can also be found right here in Martin County.
