Trip Summary

Started at 6am, caught some live bait on way out, first fishing spot was 70 Miles, 320 ft deep using manual and electric reels we caught a nice haul of scamp Grouper. Biggest being 17lbs! Continued on by 1pm to a Oil drill ship 115 miles south west of Pensacola pass. We cooked dinner and watched the sunset, then the fun started! Quickly hooking up some fatty yellowfin tunas and getting them in the boat. We easily could have sunk the boat with blackfin tunas but we continued trying to catch yellowfins. Early that morning we pointed north and started heading to the tilefish grounds. Fishing **hidden content**ft deep with our electric reels we bounced around catching 8 nice blue line tile fish! Tasty treats! Our last stop was another scamp spot where we caught 3 more scamp & ran out of live bait, at that point we continued home. Getting home by noon. What a trip!
