Trip Summary

Vanila Ice couldn't have said it better himself! The air was cold but the fishing hot. Our trip started at daylight, and we ran out to Stoney Point in Brest Bay. We trolled back into the bay using Bandits and P-10's. Leads were 20', 30', and 40'. P-10's in green and gold were our hot baits. Limits were caught in pretty short order, which let us fish for the Captain and First Mate limits. Walleye were not safe this morning! It was so cold that icicles formed on our planer board flags! Sometimes we question our sanity on these early season trips. However, when the big fish hit the boat it warms you up! Enjoy the outdoors!

With the far western basin of Lake Erie and the Detroit River full of mud. We decided to travel east a little way past Sandusky. It did not disappoint! The fish were active from the moment the lines were in the water, and we had a great trip even though it was cold and windy. The crew did fantastic; we went 24 for 24 without a lost fish. It was smiles and piles of walleye.

We were brawling on Lake Erie just outside of Cleveland. Water temperature was hovering around 59 degrees. Lots of fish marks and sporadic action at the 45' - 50' depth. Once the waves calmed down further out to the 55' line and it was game on! Bandits with leads of 130' and 110' assisted and 80' back unassisted did the best. Our Frank the Tank Customs lure "Hutch" continues to hammer fish. Our new JT Customs Venomous Frog also made the boards jump back. GET IN ON THIS BITE!!!! Schedule a trip yet this fall!

55' of water is still producing fish. We caught our limits in roughly 2 hours at all depths using Bandits and Badmo Spoons. Color did not matter. We are getting close to brawling season, so feel free to reach out if you want to book a trip!
