Grouper Grouper Grouper Grouper !!!!!!!!! Do you know what Scamp are? Highly sought after for the table these deepwater groupers are some of the best eating fish in the world. And usually average about 5lb. We departed Day Break Marina at 6am, On this trip the average fish weighed 11 pounds! Had several right at 20! All of these guys came out of 450’ of water, we had our six man limit by noon, and decided to try to jig up some fish at a near by shallow water natural gas rig, we landed amberjack, and large sharks which were a blast! We were back at the marina at 530pm. Long day but very worth it.
