Trip Summary

After wrapping up our evening trip, we made one last quick run—and it paid off big! We went 2-for-2 on mature female Sandbar Sharks, with both giants measuring over 8 feet long. These powerful fish delivered absolutely incredible battles on our PENN Fishing 30VISW and Fathom 60NLDII setups, testing both anglers and tackle every step of the way. After the fight, both sharks were brought alongside the boat, safely dehooked, and released in excellent condition to swim another day. Nothing beats the thrill of battling trophy-class sharks and watching them swim away strong. Who’s ready for the next adventure?

8ft Male Bull shark caught Weighed 195lbs dressed. This guy had a mouth big enough to take your leg off. Using stingray for bait, we set up in one of out favorite locations. It didnt take long we were hooked up. As soon as we moved the drag up to strike and set the hook this fish peel off About 400 yards of line from our penn International 30 visw and we knew we hooked something special We fought this fish for approximately 25 mins at full drag and the shark gave us an opportunity to get the head rope on and end the battle. processed nearly 100lbs of meat from this shark most of which went to local families for free.
