Skipjacks biting few minutes from the co

We were out for a 5hours morning trip. Fishing was a bit slow. We found a school of skipjacks and luckily caught 3 . The fishes was moving extremely fast that we were not able to follow them. Later on while moving to a FAD we saw some bird feeding near a sea weed line. We passe by once ...no bite...but their were clearly doradoes in the area. We tried a second time and we got a bit. A nice female dorado was jumping at the back. While fighting the fish we put a strip of skipjack on a hook and let it drift far back...in few seconds a big bull was on it...second fish hooked...we came back with 3 skipjacks and 2 doradoes. The biggest was 35 pounds

We started at 8a.m. we drived far out to find the fish. Arriving on spot we started catching skipjacks and yellowfins. The customer decided to add an hour more. We came back with 7 skipjacks and 2 yellowfin tuna. Another one was eaten by a shark during the fight.

We started at 8a.m instead of 7a.m due to the low tide. Not far out we had our first strike on the 50 pounds reel . After a good fight a 43 pounds wahoo was in.. we moved direction the finders bank which is at one and a half hour from shore. Arriving there we could note the presence of some birds feeding...few minutes the reels were singing. We finished the day with 4 skipjacks, 2 yellowfins and a nice wahoo
