Trip Summary

Very nice day for the pelican family visiting from Belgian fishing slowed down a little, but we experienced great weather and did learn a beautiful salmon for them. We fished along the Marin coastline once again.

After 3 years of closures, we just finished the 1st period for the San Francisco Region. We fished, initially, from 6/27-7/22 for a quota of 35 K fish. The Department of Fish & Wildlife estimated 15K fish were caught and reopened fishing 8/1 for the remaning 20K fish. As of 8/24 that remainder has now been caught and fishing is closed. It will reopen again 9/1 for an additional quota of 20K fish. Are you with me? Enjoy some pics of this epic 1st time period.

Wonderful trip for Ben and friends fishing the beautiful Marine coastline once again. Fishing was slow in the morning but super picked up in the afternoon. We probably had the best variety all year. We landed two big king salmon, two rare white Seabass and a large halibut they experienced wonderful weather thank you Ben.
