**August Fishing Recap – Rocks, Reefs & Topwater Action**
August has been a busy and diverse month on the water! The **rocks and reefs** have been producing plenty of action, with the **porgy bite staying strong** and **black sea bass starting to pick up**.
The **bluefish are beginning to show**, and the best part is seeing more of them push bait to the surface and create some exciting **topwater action**. We’ve also had a few **Spanish mackerel** mixed into the action, adding even more variety and some fast-paced fun.
On a personal offshore outing, the **tuna bite was absolutely hot**—a great reminder of just how good the offshore fishing can be this time of year.
As we head toward the fall run, the variety is only getting better. **Rocks, reefs, topwater bites, and plenty of rods bending—August has been keeping us busy!**
