Trip Summary

Had a great day on the water with John and his grandson Wil. We started off fishing some mangrove creeks where we were able to hook up to a few snook in the 25-28 inch range. As the sun began to climb higher, we moved to a sandy bottom area in about 2ft if water in hopes of sight casting some giant snook. After a few adrenaline pumping attempts at throwing baits to some huge fish we were unable to entice a bite and moved to the next spot. It was here that John was able to drop back a live threadfin herring and connect with a 35” Snook! Great fish John!
