Double Wahoo Catch – Pacific Trolling Action (October 31) DESCRIPTION On October 31, ADRENALINA 1 departed Cabo San Lucas Marina, heading toward the Pacific side for a sportfishing trip along the coastline. We began trolling approximately 2 miles offshore, working our way along the Pacific coast. While passing the Pozo Cota area, a wahoo struck our ballyhoo rigger bait presented with a planer. The fish was successfully hooked and landed, putting our first wahoo aboard. We continued trolling along the coastline until reaching La Lobera, where we turned around and began our return toward Cabo San Lucas. During the return, while passing the waters off Los Arcos, another wahoo attacked the same ballyhoo rigger bait and planer setup. The crew successfully hooked and landed the second wahoo, completing a double wahoo catch for the trip. ADRENALINA 1 returned to Cabo San Lucas Marina with two wahoo aboard.
