My friend Miguel Angel, asked me to help him out to fish El Bajo in La Paz on Jan 31st, we took his SeeVee 32, picked some sardines on the way out and took 20lb of frozen squid. After spending all morning looking on few spots around the rock, we decided to go to a little deeper water, and start working the chum, when a good school of 50-100lbs tuna started boiling around us. We immediatly hooked up with this nice 82 lbs. It took us a little over 2 hrs to landed, we hooked it on a small Torium and 40 lb mono and leader. Finally we land the fish and hit straight back to the marina. For being January and having this fish around is awesome, we are expecting a great 2019 season.
