Trip Summary
We left the dock this morning with the intention of chasing down redfish in the marsh. Around 7:30am I recieved a message that a fellow captain broke down and needed help. Weall agreed it was best to head that way, until another message came through that someone was already there. We made a split decision to run farther out to find fish and it paid off. At about 8:30am, we boated the first keeper redfish. We got on a steady bite, keeping one or two and then throwing back 3 or 4. This happened for aound 30 minutes until the bite slowed, which then we moved to another island. First cast and we were back on schedule. At 10:15am, we had caught our limit of redfish. We decided to fish on until 11 using the bait we had leftand beat the heat back to the dock. After pictures with their catch and cleaning the fish, I prepared some southern style redfish and sheephead for my guys from North Carolina. They enjoyed their lunch before heading back into the city after having a blast on the water! They also left the dock with two custom designed Captain Davis Fishing Charters fishing shirts to keep them cool for their next trip with us! Hope to see yall soon!
