Hot Bite
December 26, 2019 West Bay 2 videos

Trip Summary

Drift fishing 12 miles offshore at the famous (12-mile bank) north west of George Town, Grand Cayman, the bite was on. We had just landed a nice little yellow fin tuna when another line started screaming - we were hoping it was another tuna but bigger. Much to our surprise however, it was a blue marlin. After about 20 minutes we got the blue next to the boat and based on its shape we figured it was a female in the region of 200lbs. Fish was release and swam away healthy.
