Trip Summary

We tried offshore for about an hour and got one tuna trolling before the weather took a bad turn so we headed in to fish the inlet. There were frigate birds diving on fish and we hooked into a big tarpon that broke a 7/0 circle hook somehow, got some cudas and a big 20lb jack and also a nice daytime snook that went .5" overslot and got to swim away!

The tuna bite has been great early morning around sunrise and late in the afternoon on the troll. Mahi, mackerel, and sailfish have been caught while live bait fishing and amberjacks, almacos, and snapper while bottom fishing

Starting to see some mahi on a more regular basis now with april here the fishing should continue to get better. Live bait is a must have when you run into a school of hungry fish its important to keep them hooked up and around the boat. Also mackerel and some nice mutton snapper around.

The spring fishing is getting better every week and we are catching tuna, mahi, king mackerel, cero mackerel, and more. Live bait fishing on light tackle has been the hot ticket but trolling on the right day can be great as well.
