Trip Summary

We went out at 7:30 in the morning. The sea was a bit choppy. We went for dolphin watching first and luckily find a group of spinner dolphins just few minutes from the entrance. After taking some pictures, we went further out trolling for pelagic fishing. We hit in a school of dorado and caught one of 15 pounds...

We were out for a 5hrs afternoon trip. The weather was a bit windy and rainy at the beginning of the trip. We started fishing right after the reef. Line were out but not schools of fish could be seen. We had a strike on the long rigger lure but the hook did not get the fish. We suppose it was a marlin. After few hours we were near a FAD. Not strike. On the way back we had a marlin strike on the short corner lure. The marlin made many jumps and after a good fight the fish was in and we were back in the lagoon with a splendid catch. It was the first marlin for our customers.
