Epic Winter Fishing

Trip Summary

Absolutely epic fishing when the weather has allowed us to go. 6/8 Hour trips held lots of cobia, while no big ones plenty of 20 to 25 pound class fish! Usually when we hooked 1 we hooked 2-3 at a time. Book now before they get out of town! 10/12 Hour trips have been spent chasing wahoo. While not so epic on numbers the average fish has more than made up for it. One tipped the scales at 70lbs with a pair of upper 40s-low 50s and one small one at 15 pounds. 4/6 hour nearshore action faded off a little with the dropping temps. but plenty to catch with a little effort Ringtails, sea bass and more red snapper than you can shake a stick at. Inshore fishing remains scrappy on the bigger center console. But we have had some absolutely epic days on the skiff recently! Check out our 16' Hewes listing for a current report. Inshore fishing remains scrappy in
