Fall steelhead season has begun. Fished a few hours yesterday afternoon boating 9 and losing several more. Mix of trolling and casting caught fish. Biggest was 30" and 9lbs.

Walleye fishing is amazing right now. Folks who have been fishing since the walleye boom started in the 1980's are saying its the best they've ever seen. I had two charters this past weekend with easy limits of nice sized walleye sending guys home with loads of good eating walleye fillets. We are fishing off shore 8-15 miles trolling targeting fish 45-60ft down using dipsy divers and wireline with crankbaits.

As fast as you can get lines out they are biting. Limits in 2 hrs fishing time with great average size. If you're thinking of going now is the time. Fishing will continue to be good through September.
