Trip Summary
The month of December started abnormally warm. We now did a complete reversal with a big artic chill at our Christmas doorstep. That’s just what the doctor ordered because the change of conditions is the catalyst needed to change up the inshore game.
We’re catching now, lots of keeper fish like Sheepshead, Black drum, Redfish, Gulf flounder, and others. Catch and release snook we’re going strong too but will soon be seeking refuge from the cold spell coming our way. We start a gradual warming trend after Christmas to above normal temps late next week. In my expert opinion, that’s when the fishing heats up during these high pressure warm spells. Pair this with a good tide and fishing spot and that’s when the magic happens. If you’re looking for awesome, yet an unpretentious fishing excursion, look no further, I’m your man!
Best and tight lines from the beach!
