Warm weather success

Trip Summary

The past few weeks of warmer weather in the Lake Norman area have greatly helped fishing success. We've had most of our success in the afternoons which allows the water temperature to warm throughout the day. Half-day trips are catching up to 25 spotted bass and consistently producing around 10 fish. We are having most of our luck fishing structure and docks using lightly weighted or weightless presentations. As the water continues to warm, I expect hybrid striped bass to become more mixed in with trips.
