Yesterday we embarked on a fishing trip with Joseph who came all the way from England with one dream in mind: to catch a Goliath Grouper. And boy, did we ever catch them! In fact, we ended up catching and releasing three of these magnificent creatures. The first Goliath grouper we caught was the smallest one out of the three and it was small enough to bring on the boat to grab a couple pictures. The last one we caught was over 350 pounds! It was an incredible feeling to see him have land one of these beasts after years of dreaming about it. But that was just the beginning of our adventure. We decided to take things up a notch and got in the water with one of the Goliath groupers we caught. It was truly an unforgettable experience to swim alongside such a massive creature, feeling the sheer power and weight of it as it swam past us. But we didn't just catch Goliath groupers on this trip. We also managed to reel in some Bonita. And we even had a couple of close encounters with some sharks, which added an extra thrill to an already exhilarating fishing trip. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience that wont be forgotten about for a while. Catching those Goliath groupers was a dream come true, and getting in the water with one was the icing on the cake.
