Trip Summary

Fishing was shockingly good yesterday after the cold front and high winds. The Water was dirty and extremely low in the morning from the strong north wind the day before, But the wind switched and all the water came back in yesterday with the incoming tide. Sight fishing is usually slow with the fly after a cold front because it pushes all the fish to deeper water but with the tide coming up and our knowledge of the marsh were able to make it happen. We got 4 over 40” yesterday, some good slot fish, and a few black drum.
