The morning was honestly way rougher than I was expecting. we made it half the distance I had wanted to go and decided we would fish for a little until it calmed down more and ended up making it just shy of 30 miles out by the end of the day. The ride back in was super nice. As for the fishing it was non stop action just about all day we had a few little pauses in the fish catching but overall it was a really good day. My plan was to go out close to 20fathoms to target keeper red grouper but at 15 miles it started to get rough so we made lemonade out of lemons and fished a bunch of new stuff that I had never been to. We let go double if not triple what we kept and ended up with 1 really nice red grouper 1 grasby grouper a few lanes and b liners and a ton of porgies and grunts.
