Trip Summary
Trip Summary
Every season has something to offer anglers of all skill levels. This Spring, we have been catching quite a few bull reds and keeper black drums. For those who don't know, bull reds are redfish, also known as red drum, which are 28 inches or longer. Slot reds are redfish you can keep which are at least 20 inches long and up to 28 inches long. We usually hook up on one to two bull reds per 4 or 5 hour charter. Last Sunday, was exceptional, as we hooked up with 5 bull reds on just one charter. We also have caught some slot reds and keeper black drums over the past few charters. The fish bite isn't constant, like it is in the Summer. Summer is when you are likely to run into many more fish species such as croakers, lady fish, pin fish, and so on. The upside to Spring, is when you do get a bite, it's almost always a quality fish. The other obvious thing about fishing this time of year is that the weather is super pleasant! There are only a couple of months left in Spring, so book your fishing trip with Captain Mark as soon as possible.
