Armed with topwater frogs and spinnerbaits, they cast their lines into the shallow waters, enticing explosive strikes from aggressive bass hiding in the shadows. Captain Bill guided them to the submerged brush piles scattered across the lake. Here, they switched to Texas-rigged plastic worms and swimbaits, carefully working the structure to coax out the lunker bass lurking below. Their persistence paid off when one angler hooked into a monstrous bass weighing an astonishing 10.2 pounds!
