Trip Summary

On July 27 we were blessed with big tuna and on the way back we got a 75lb marlin. Its a tye tradition to cut the first big Tuna of the season and share it wity friends n family. Our customer was traveling the next day and he couldn’t take any fish. We stayed late and cut the Tuna. We also send the Marlin to the auction to sell it. Next morning the customer texted me and said he have noticed a homless camps and lots of homeless on the area and he wanted to share some of the fish with them. We loved that!!!! My crew and i drove to town and the marlin for whatever mysterious reason didnt sell at the auction this morning. We had to negotiate taking the marlin back and we did !! Later this afternoon we delivered the marlin to the homeless camp and its probably going to feed many many people. The tuna was cut and shared with 19 families. As a captain and a fisherman its always good to put in prespective that fishing is great but fishing existence was because people need food on their tables. While we get to fish and have a lot of fun lets always make sure to ground ourselves to share and put the food on as many people as we could possible do. My crew and I are humbled to be part of those who serve the community and bring food to the table also humbled to share so many good memories with our customers. Mahalo Justin Flynn for fishing with us and for having the heart to help the community. Capt. Trex
