Trip Summary
Its always a pleasure to host knowledgeable fishermen - Tim and his crew had a blast reeling in some Steelhead- we started out in 50’ trolling with the wind to our stern. A massive bug hatch slowed the bite, so we pulled lines and headed out to 70’ and put spoons down off the downriggers and off dipsey divers and tru trips- had 4 on and kept 3, including a 28.5” fish ohio. Walleye bite was a bit slow today, but we ended up w 14 eyes and the trout. It got hot, and two of the guys took a refreshing swim 15 miles off shore - a great way to cool down in 75 degree water on a 90 degree day.
