Trip Summary

I’ve had charters the last six of seven days from 10/19 until 10-25. The fish feeding and we have caught limits of Trout on tge majority of those days. Mixed in have been some flounder and some puppy drum. The trout have been the main culprits with all of them measuring from 16’’ to 23’’ and really stout.

Despite the nasty wind and seas the last couple weeks, we are still finding plenty of fish, including some stout Trout, fat Flounder, and ripping Redfish. These fish are ravenously feeding to pack on some pounds before Winter and the action has been fast and furious. Additionally, I have moved the Touch of Grey to Kitty Hawk Bay in Kill Devil Hills. This move has made the distance to the fish a great deal shorter giving the charters more time to fish. With most clients this new centralized launching location is less of a drive from their accommodations. And finally, the weather is becoming more stable and a good deal more favorable for fishing. Don’t hesitate. Book a charter now and we can customize your trip exactly to your liking as we have moved to the tourist’s shoulder season and I am able to be more flexible when booking.
