Trip Summary

After a tough month in January the fishing in February has started to warm up. Some wahoo, mahi, tuna, and snapper have decided to eat and the action should only get better leading into March. Lets go fishing!

As the summer comes to an end the fishing starts to transition into the fall migration and we see more mahi, tuna, and sailfish move south and feed aggressively orf the reef as the water cools down. The bottom fishing for snapper has been great this month and should continue through October.

As the days get warmer the action close to the reef continues to improve. Alot of our catch comes from 80-120' of water which is just over a mile offshore. Take advantage of this time of year to get in on the action!

The mahi bite has been great on most days the weather allows the trip offshore. If you want to catch mahi make sure to book a 6hr trip because there is a good bit of travel offshore. Also king mackerel, tuna, and bonitos on the reef. Bottom fishing for snapper and more has been hot as well.
