Fishing has been very good lately. Just finished up three days of guiding all half-day trips and managed to catch over 130 bass, 7 catfish, and over a dozen crappie. Fish seem to be very spot oriented, and are in large schools. Fish are around the bait balls and are also spitting up crawdads! Select you baits to match the conditions.

Clearlake doesn’t disappoint. You can see why it got ranked the #1 lake in the nation for bass fishing. Gabbi here was fishing a worm in 5 feet of water when this 11lber bit.

We have been catching alot of fish cranking 10 to 20 feet of water. Also, the flip bite is heating up flipping tules and weeds. Frog bite should stsrt soon as we get warmer weather.
