There were a few issues with this trip starting with the fact that after having booked it three weeks prior, and trying to confirm it multiple times without response, the day before the Capt notified me that he had mistakenly double booked and cancelled my trip. Fortunately we were able to reschedule the trip for later in the day of this notice. We did go out. The boat arrived on time and I was asked if we wanted to go out as the waters were rough. I agreed having no idea that rough waters meant 7 foot waves. It was a difficult few hours and very scary and unpleasant for several family members. The trip should have been cancelled by the capt as it was unpleasant. But we caught one fish- a barracuda- and headed back after 1.5 hours. On the positive side the boat was well equipped for fishing and both the capt and the man who helped us fish were extremely expert and helpful. I would go again but not in such rough seas

Hello Sue, we truly appreciate your response and understanding of last minute mishaps and changes. We do apologize for the weather not being suitable but we wouldnt have taken you out there if we werent sure you guys would have been safe. Hopefully we can take you out soon again on a calmer day. Thanks for your comment it was helpful.
The first benefit for a bunch of tourists like us was getting a look at Nelsonโs Dockyard at 8 am before the crowds turn up, what an amazing place! We me Peelo (I hope I have spelled that correctly) and Captain Frank, got ourselves aboard (a party of six) and headed straight out into the Atlantic. Six lines were out as soon as were throught the gap in the reef. I would describe Ovrdraft as a utilitarian sport fishing boat, easy to maintain and keep clean and with everything required to catch fish. if you want a cushion for your bum, bring one with you. The sea state was choppy going on lively which made moving about difficult to outright funny at times. The sad news is that the fish were not playing ball, we landed two barracuda and Frank worked tirelessly keeping baits fresh and weed free but thatโs why they call it fishing, not catching. He is quite a character, a genuine salty dog. One of the party was a little seasick but hung in like a trooper, the rest of us took joy in being a good way out in the ocean in a small boat with magnificent views. If you are in Antigua and want to go fishing for something big I would definately recommend this boat.

Hello Richard. Thank you for your amazing remarks. I know Frank would have tried everything to get you on to something. Next time for sure. Tight lines!
Thank you John
Never stopped working and put us on a fish during the off season. Will book again in a better month to catch the species that Iโm hunting.ย Didnโt disappoint
We left promptly and Captain Frank took care of everything.ย All we had to do was bring in the fish!ย Great boat with excellent equipment to catch big fish.
