Even thou we did not catch much, we all had a great time.  It wad nice to kick back and relax

The fishing gear was kinda old and rusty, the guide seemed only interested in catching a few reds. He treated my wife like a child and terminated the trip two hours early without even catching a limit of reds. He also left the pin bones in the filets of the fish we did catch. If the climax of your vacation is a guided fishing trip there are more fun guys to go with.

We kept 6 Reds and threw away 4-5 Rat Reds. Capt only fished one bait and said no Trout in bay. (Don’t know if that’s true, but we only fished for Reds) Asked Capt before and during trip to try for Trout. Only to be told he knew best-Reds only) We might have went 1 mile from dock that was convenient for him to fish. Stayed in one spot from daybreak till 10 AM-4 fish> Then we moved 1/4 mile to several other honey holes and caught 2 fish in 2 hours. Just don’t believe Capt. cared much about accommodating us or trying to find fish. Wanted us to get Reds only then he was done-Make his $825 and ready to move on. I’d suggest finding a guide that is willing to find fish and not just stay in one spot. Very disappointed customers-PS.I’ve fished with many guides and this guide didn’t try very hard. From the start of trip, kept saying there were not many fish and bad fishing condition here.
