I took my 3 sons ages 8 thru 13 on a half day charter. We got lucky there were a ton of fish but as soon as it slowed down Captain Dan repositioned the boat to where the bait and stripers were. First Mate Chris worked hard to keep the tackle ready and fresh bait on the lines. Both Dan and Chris worked great with the kids and coached them on how to hook and land a striper. Captain Dan and Ken were great. Very attentive and offered fishing tips and information about the types of fish we caught. We split the day between strippers and bottom fishing. 5 out of 6 of us caught the biggest strippers in their lives, ranging from 39 to 46 inches! Unfortunately had to throw them back due to size limits.  We also came home with some seabass and porgies for dinner!

My three sons love fishing but all they’re able to do is local ponds and streams near us in Northern NJ. They were dying to do a fishing trip and Captain Dan and Chris gave them the time of their lives. They were patient and explained everything (as my wife and I do not know anything about fishing). It was so much fun and a great half day out. Took my grandson, just turned 13, and one of his friends sea fishing for his birthday.  He and his friend absolutely loved the adventure, boat ride, trolling, fishing the wrecks and then drifting the river. Captain Dan and Chris were great very attentive to the boys and catching some fish, which we did. Can’t say enough it was a great day!!

The captain was very knowledgeable about the area and fishing techniques.  The boat was clean and well equipped. We plan on booking another trip soon.
